 ADAS is the leading consultancy and research organisation to the land-based industries, working throughout the UK and overseas.  The company operates in eight business areas (Agriculture, Environment, Professional Services, Horticulture, Food & Drink, Research, Laboratory Services and International), that provide the only true "One-Stop Shop" organisation for the land-based industries.  

   With over 1300 highly skilled professional and support staff, a turnover in the region of £60m and 50 years of experience that spans all aspects of land use, ADAS is dedicated to the provision of high quality services to meet the needs and benefit its customers business.    ADAS has eight principal locations around the UK with a further 20 satellite offices, research establishments and laboratories.  The East Hendred office was opened on 1st August 2000.  It acts as the focus for Environmental Services in Southern England and provides call in services for consultants working within the area.

The East Hendred office has two resident staff:  Ruth Kempson, Senior Secretary and Chris Thomson, Senior Consultant. Ruth and Chris live in the Oxford area and were previously based at ADAS offices in Kiddlington.

Up to a dozen other consultants use the office facilities, or meeting room, as a focal point for their work.
