| The Hendred Estate is responsible for the letting and maintenance of over 40 houses and cottages in the village and surrounding area. These range in accommodation from 2 bedrooms to 6 bedrooms. Most are of some age and historical interest with large gardens. Around a quarter of the residential properties are let to members of long-standing village families. | |||||

There are also two large office facilities in the yard behind Hendred House and the village shop, converted from a listed barn and currently occupied by Charlton Communications. The Estate also plans to convert the premises formerly used by Tudor Joinery and the Estate Office into additional business units. | ||||
