Millennium Mugs Presentation
During the afternoon of the 8th April 2000, Parish Councillors presented the Millennium mugs to all the children under 16, living in the village.
The china mugs are unique to the village as only 400 were produced, bearing a design of the village shop on one side, by kind permission of a local artist, and on the reverse a crucifix and the date.
Who knows, being a limited edition, they may become collector's items in the future.
