Remembrance Service
The annual Remembrance service, organised by Paddy Sheehan, was held at the village war memorial on Sunday Nov. 12th, attended by church goers and village residents.
A wreath was placed on the memorial and at 11am the traditional silence was respected, followed by a short service led by Father Sean Murphy and Revd. Jean Page and the reading out of the names of all those villagers who lost their lives in both world wars.
