The world held its breath as the year 2000 started.  Predictions that there would be wide spread disruption as the "Millennium Bug" caused computers and electronic equipment to fail proved entirely groundless.  Instead we were treated to a magnificent dawn...

The Stones were Ardington's Millennium Project, a new sculpture based on the Solar System.

This was a moving celebration of the beginning of the new Millennium.
