  Brief history of pre-school    The Hendreds Pre-school originally opened in 1963, and for many years was known as the Hendreds Playgroup, using a spare classroom at Hendreds Primary School. It is now situated in the heart of the village in Snells Hall, in its purpose-built building which was opened in March 1998.
           
  Management Committee    Management and fund-raising is done by the Hendreds Pre-School Management Committee
